Russell Westbrook put pen to paper on a five-year, $205 million deal that will tie the reigning MVP to the Oklahoma City Thunder until 2023 and give him the largest contract in NBA history.

The move is the latest in a busy offseason in Oklahoma City that has also seen Paul George and Carmelo Anthony join the Thunder, as they hope to mount a serious challenge to the Golden State Warriors. Westbrook's deal comes with some interesting timing on a certain ex-Thunder star's birthday ...
