New Saints quarterback Tom Savage said it was a “no-brainer” to join a team with Sean Payton and Drew Brees – although he said he “loved” his time in Houston and called it an “incredible experience.” “Just, when the contract ends, it ends, and you look for the best opportunity for yourself and the team.” Savage said “for sure” he has looked at the surges of fellow QBs like Case Keenum and Nick Foles later in their careers as inspiration.

Sources: Ex-Chief Fulton to sign with Texans

Former Chiefs offensive lineman Zach Fulton intends to sign with the Houston Texans after the start of the new league year at 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday.

Dan Graziano ESPN Staff Writer

Even after all the activity of the past two days, there are still some (literally) big free agents out there – offensive and defensive linemen looking for homes. Once OT Nate Solder makes his decision, the offensive line market should get moving. Teams like the Giants and Texans are holding out hope that he will leave New England while the Patriots still hope to keep him. After him, look for guys like Ryan Jensen, Justin Pugh and Cameron Fleming to starting matching up with teams. Top defensive linemen yet to agree to new deals include Sheldon Richardson, Dontari Poe and Ndamukong Suh once he's officially released today by the Dolphins. And of course, this being 2018, be on the lookout for more trades. Interesting day ahead.

The Texans intend to sign OT Seantrel Henderson to a one-year deal worth up to $4 million, ESPN's Dan Graziano confirms. Henderson spent the past four years in Buffalo and should compete for one of the open tackle spots next season. The signing gives Houston depth on the offensive line, but likely won't be the only move the Texans make at that position.

The Texans intend to sign former Jaguars cornerback Aaron Colvin to a four-year deal, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Colvin is a slot corner and has spent the past four seasons in Jacksonville.
