Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones was not pleased with this team's 24-13 loss to Seattle but he was trying to see a bigger picture with 13 games remaining after the game. “I'm frustrated like everybody else is that we didn't play well enough to win the game,” Jones said. “As far as looking at this as something that this is what this team is going to be, I'm talking execution-wise, I'm talking won-loss wise, I don't see that at all.”

In their last three games against the Seahawks, dating back to 2015, the Cowboys have scored one touchdown in 32 possessions. They have lost all three, including 24-13 Sunday. They have scored 10 field goals.

Earl Thomas with his second interception of the day of Dak Prescott puts this game to rest with 3:09 to play. Thomas took a bow toward the Cowboys' sideline and was called for taunting. Last December, he told the Cowboys to come get him. On Sunday, he said go home without a win.

Sean Lee will not return with a hamstring injury.

Even when things go well for the Cowboys it ends poorly. Ezekiel Elliott fumbles when he is chopped from behind by Bradley McDougald on a game-long 26-yard run. Add that to a drop and stepping out of bounds to negate a touchdown. Not one of Elliott's best days, despite going over 100 yards for the first time this season.

Thomas picks ball off shoe top for INT (0:53)

The Cowboys have rotated Sean Lee some today but as this series started, he is on the sideline in a ball cap with Leighton Vander Esch at weakside linebacker. He doesn't have a helmet. No word from Cowboys yet but Lee entered the game with a hamstring injury.

As inept as the Cowboys were in the first half of the season opener at Carolina offensively, they have been as inept in the first half against Seattle, trailing, 17-3. Dak Prescott has thrown for 40 yards, been intercepted once and sacked twice. The Cowboys have converted on one of seven third-down tries. They simply have no answers in the passing game.

Earl Thomas has been linked to the Cowboys since last season and he just got credited with an interception of Dak Prescott after Tre Flowers broke up a pass to Michael Gallup. Wonder if the Cowboys can see if they can open up a seat on the plane back to Dallas?

Russell Wilson and the Seahawks are very narrow FPI favorites over the Cowboys in Seattle today.

Cowboys inactives: QB Mike White, WR Brice Butler, LB Chris Covington, C Travis Frederick, G Xavier Su'a-Filo, TE Dalton Schultz, DT Maliek Collins.

Sean Lee will play today at Seattle after being listed as questionable with a hamstring injury that had him limited through two practices. The question is how much will Lee play. Rookie Leighton Vander Esch could be more part of a rotation with Lee and Jaylon Smith.

Leighton Vander Esch's family and a number of friends from Riggins, Idaho, made the eight-hour drive to Seattle for today's game against the Seahawks on the family bus, complete with Cowboys' and Boise State logos. "It was great," Vander Esch's father Darwin said. "Kids in the back playing cards, telling jokes, having fun. We had some first-time riders, too. We got a lot of fist bumps on the interstate. People waving hates, even University of Idaho, Boise State. Yeah, we had a fun trip over."

Sources: Seahawks mulling fine on Thomas

The Seattle Seahawks are considering levying a significant fine on safety Earl Thomas for conduct detrimental to the team because he missed practice twice this past week, according to organizational sources.

Defensive tackle Maliek Collins (knee) has been ruled out of Sunday's game at Seattle and linebacker Sean Lee (hamstring), receiver Cole Beasley (ankle) and safety Xavier Woods (hamstring) are questionable. The expectation is all three will be available. Defensive end Randy Gregory will play after missing last week's game against the New York Giants with a concussion.

Wide receiver Cole Beasley, who suffered an ankle injury at the end of Thursday's practice, was fielding punts and running routes during the open portion of practice to the media on Friday.

Owner and general manager Jerry Jones said on 105.3 The Fan he was not aware of an impending suspension for receiver Terrance Williams. Multiple reports said Williams is facing a 2-4 game suspension for a summer intoxication arrest. “I don't know about those reports in terms of accuracy, but certainly he would be missed should we not be able to have him,” Jones said. “But at the same token we've got a really, I think, top group - numbers I'm referring to - at receiver and we'd make an adjustment if need be.”

Owner and general manager Jerry Jones said linebacker Sean Lee will be a game-time decision for Sunday at Seattle. Lee suffered a hamstring injury in the fourth quarter against the New York Giants and did not practice Wednesday. He was limited Thursday and said he planned on playing. “We're thinking that he's going to play and no reason now to not just go with what he's saying and he says, ‘I'm going to play,'” Jones said on 105.3 The Fan.
