Vick wants to retire as Falcon on one-day deal

Michael Vick, who told ESPN's Josina Anderson in February that he is retired from the NFL, said he is in talks with the Atlanta Falcons to sign a one-day contract and officially retire with his first NFL team.

If you look around the league, everybody is stacked up. The quarterback slots are filled. If you can't get lucky enough to land in a spot where the system fits you, you might as well not even go because you're going to be uncomfortable and it's not going to work from the football side. Kap, he's going to get another opportunity. I'm not going to say second chance because I don't think he did anything wrong. But at the same time, I feel like systems make quarterbacks, and he's got to land in the right system."
