Season status of Cardinals' Peterson is in doubt

A neck injury to Cardinals running back Adrian Peterson that he suffered in November has put his availability for the remainder of the season in doubt, according to Arizona head coach Bruce Arians.

Cardinals coach Bruce Arians isn't sure if running back Adrian Peterson will play again this season after suffering a neck injury against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Nov. 26. "I have no idea," Arians said Wednesday. Arians also said there wasn't any progress on the status of Peterson's injury.

Does Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald, who moved into third on the NFL's all-time receiving yards list Sunday, plan on catching No. 2 Terrell Owens? "I don't know. I don't know," Fitzgerald said. "That would require me to play another year, I think. I hope to catch him this year." Fitzgerald currently had 15,311 career yards -- 623 behind Owens.

Cardinals beat Titans on Dawson's 4 field goals

Phil Dawson kicked four second-half field goals and the Arizona Cardinals shut down Tennessee's offense nearly all day Sunday in a 12-7 victory over the Titans, who had entered the game leading the AFC South.
