With it looking unlikely LeSean McCoy (hamstring) will play in Week 7, Mike Gillislee is now RB19 in my rankings. Though the Dolphins have been a top-10 defense against running backs to date, the loss of Reshad Jones will draw them closer to the middle of the pack matchups-wise.

Saints WR Brandin Cooks said he is looking forward to Sunday's rematch against the Chiefs' standout young CB Marcus Peters. The two of them went head-to-head in college in 2013, with Cooks at Oregon State and Peters at Washington. Cooks finished with 10 catches for 117 yards and a touchdown, but mostly while playing catch-up in a 69-27 loss to the Huskies. Peters had two interceptions, a forced fumble and three pass defenses. "It was a battle," Cooks said. "One of those battles, I guess you're going back and forth on punches as you would say in boxing terms. But it was a great one. He made some plays, I made some plays. It was one of those, you remember that game and you build off it."

Saints LT Terron Armstead said he will "definitely try to play this weekend" at Kansas City after missing the past three games with an unspecified knee injury. He said he took more reps in Thursday's practice than Wednesday. The Saints need him, since he is arguably one of the two or three best players on the team -- and because his backup Andrus Peat has missed practice all week with a groin injury.
