The Broncos' decision on Russell Okung formally gives the team an opening at left tackle -- they were already proceeding in offseason planning as if Okung's option bonus would no be paid. In that light the draft is fairly thin at left tackle in terms of walk-in starter potential, but at No. 20 the Broncos will likely have a chance at one of top three tackles on the board --Cam Robinson, Ryan Ramcyzk or Garett Bolles. But they haven't taken an offensive lineman in the first round since Ryan Clady in 2008.

The Lions have signed OT Pierce Burton. Originally undrafted out of Mississippi in 2014, he spent time in Minnesota, Atlanta, Carolina and Indianapolis, primarily on practice squads. The 6-foot-6, 305-pound Burton joins a thin group at tackle including Taylor Decker and Corey Robinson.

An Allegheny County (Pa.) judge has modified the conditions of Darrelle Revis' bond, allowing the Jets' cornerback to travel outside the U.S. for a charity event. The court ruled last Friday at the arraignment that Revis, facing four felony charges for his alleged role in a street fight, would have to surrender his passport. His attorney, Robert Del Greco, filed a petition, requesting that Revis be allowed to travel to Turks and Caicos Islands next month for his Revis Island Foundation. The charity, established in 2012, provides meals for underprivileged families, per court papers. After the event, March 23-28, Revis will return to his Florida home to train for the NFL season, his attorney said.

Rick Spielman said he did a draft study on offensive linemen dating back to 2005, and found "most of the guys that become successful are going to get drafted early in the draft." He added, "It's a much lower percentage of hitting on offensive linemen in rounds 4 through 7." Spielman said he though John Sullivan and Brandon Fusco -- a pair of former sixth-round picks -- "were pretty good finds on the third day of the draft."

Vikings general manager Rick Spielman said there is still "no timetable" on when Teddy Bridgewater could return from his torn ACL and dislocated left knee, adding Bridgewater is continuing with the rehab process and not doing football activities yet. He said it's "totally unfair" to put a timetable on Bridgewater. Will the quarterback play again? "We're hoping," Spielman said.

Vikings general manager Rick Spielman said the team has not talked to Adrian Peterson or his agent about his contract yet, adding that will likely happen at the combine. But no matter what happens, Spielman said, Peterson "will always be a Minnesota Viking."

The Dallas Cowboys will play the Arizona Cardinals in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game on Aug. 3 in Canton, Ohio. With Jerry Jones getting enshrined into the Hall, it was a natural connection. This will be the third time since 2010 the Cowboys will play in the Hall of Fame Game.

The Dallas Cowboys will play the Arizona Cardinals in the Hall of Fame Game on Aug. 3, the NFL announced Thursday. I thought the Dolphins had a chance to play in that game considering former DE Jason Taylor (pictured) is being inducted. But that's not the case.
