Since Nick Saban was hired in 2007, Alabama has held its opponent to 14 points or fewer in an FBS-high 83 games. The Crimson Tide are now 82-1 in such games (the only loss was the 9-6 defeat to LSU in 2011). A short while later, he added a 55-yard touchdown run to become the first Pac-12 player to crack the 300-yard mark since 2012, when Arizona's Ka'Deem Carrey (366 against Colorado) and Oregon's Kenjon Barner (321 against USC) both did it.

Nebraska pulls away from Purdue for a 27-14 victory, moving to 7-0 this season. That means we'll see a top-10 matchup between Nebraska and Wisconsin next week for the second time since the Cornhuskers joined the Big Ten in 2011. Purdue QB David Blough threw for at least 300 yards for the fourth game this season. But Nebraska QB Tommy Armstrong accounted for more than 300 yards of offense himself. It wasn't always pretty, but the Cornhuskers remain unbeaten. We'll see how good they are with Wisconsin and Ohio State the next two games.
