It's been awhile since Auburn fans have rolled Toomer's Corner after an SEC win, but they're out in force tonight after a thrilling 18-13 win over LSU.

Jim Grobe says he did not intend to go for it on fourth and 1 from the Baylor 24 late in the third quarter. "I was yelling, 'Punt the ball. Punt the ball,'" the coach said. The battery pack in his headset was off, so no one heard him -- and Baylor failed to get the first down on a direct snap to Terence Williams. That said, Grobe had confidence in his defense to make the fourth quarter stops that it did.

One of the biggest areas of weakness through three games for Texas A&M was their third-down offensive efficiency. Well, they excelled in Saturday's 45-24 win over Arkansas in that regard. The Aggies were 8-for-12 on third down. Trevor Knight, who was abysmal on third down in last week's win over Auburn, was 4-for-6 passing for 39 yards and ran three times for 162 yards and two touchdowns on third down. That'll win you some ball games.

Trayveon Williams puts Aggies up big

The freshman RB reaches the end zone on this 22-yard run. Texas A&M pushes its lead to 45-24 over Arkansas late in the fourth quarter.

ESPN Stats and Information

There have been eight pass receptions of 90-plus yards in Texas A&M history. Josh Reynolds is the only player to catch more than one. He had the 92-yarder today and a 95-yard catch against Vanderbilt last season.

Baylor is 4-0 after a 35-24 win over Oklahoma State -- and the Bears won their league opener without big contributions from Shock Linwood or KD Cannon.

UCLA coach Jim Mora on Stanford coming through at the end: "They have a reputation for being able to do that, and they did it."

Kyle Bonagura ESPN Staff Writer

Before Stanford coach David Shaw was even asked about why he punted on 4th-and-1 at the Stanford 39 with less than five minutes, trailing 13-9, he gave his reasoning. "We trust our defense. We had a fourth-and-1, and bad field position, and if we had been in good field position we would've gone for it," Shaw said. "But with bad field position we don't go for it. We never go for it. Not with that much time left and with the defense that we have." "Coincidentally, I had that conversation with my wife this morning about that exact scenario. Midfield, to our side of the field, 4th-and-1, and I told her that you punt. You punt every single time. If you have the defense that we have and the belief in what we do, that's what you do. You punt. And you play great defense and you get the ball back, and you go out there and you execute the plays." It was a curious decision at the time, but the man stuck to what he believed in – and it worked. With three Pac-12 titles in four years, he should always deserve the benefit of the doubt.

Arkansas cuts into A&M's lead

Austin Allen passes five yards to a wide-open Jared Cornelius for a touchdown with less than seven minutes left in the fourth quarter. The Razorbacks cut the deficit to 38-24.

Orion Stewart's interception of Mason Rudolph on fourth and 15 all but secures victory for Baylor. The Bears are headed into October at 4-0 with two byes, Iowa State and Kansas on the schedule before visiting Texas in Week 9.

Knight pass extends A&M's lead

Trevor Knight passes to Christian Kirk, who scores on a nine-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter. It was the Aggies' third touchdown of the second half.

Baylor has been outplayed for most of the second half but turned away Oklahoma State twice inside the 4-yard line. Then the Bears went 99 yards, scoring on a third-and-15 pass from Seth Russell to Chris Platt. It's all about what you do with the opportunities, and the Bears have made the most of theirs. Not OSU. Baylor leads 35-24 with 5:14 to play.

Aggies double lead over Arkansas

Trayveon Williams' 33-yard run through the middle of the defense gives Texas A&M a 31-17 lead over the Razorbacks early in the fourth quarter.
