In the spring, I asked Baker Mayfield who would be OU's breakout player this season. His answer: "Rodney Anderson." Anderson just broke out at K-State with 147 rushing yards and the game-winning 22-yard TD scamper around the edge that gave the Sooners a 42-35 win.

Adam Rittenberg ESPN Staff Writer

Notre Dame QB Brandon Wimbush had his best practice of the season Thursday, and it has carried over to this game, as he fired a perfect back-shoulder throw to Kevin Stepherson for a 23-yard score. Coach Brian Kelly said that Wimbush's anticipation when to release the ball is rapidly improving. Combined with his perimeter rushing skill, he will be very tough to stop.

Dan Murphy ESPN Staff Writer

Consecutive three-and-outs for Michigan's offense doesn't give Don Brown and the defense much time to settle down and make adjustments. Michigan needs to find a way to slow things down if they're going to keep this game competitive.

Mitch Sherman ESPN Staff Writer

Back and forth we go. Kansas State ties it at 35 on an Alex Delton-to-Isaiah Zuber throw. Baker Mayfield is going to get it back with a chance to win.
