UMBC has the biggest tournament upset in BPI's history (back to 07-08), and the 3rd largest overall in a game with two Division I schools. The retrievers were only given 1.5% chance to knock off UVA. Today they have a 16% chance to beat Kansas State and a 1.3% chance to make the Elite 8.

Texas Tech star guard Keenan Evans icing his left foot. The senior has been nursing a sprained toe since last month and Red Raiders graduate assistant Darryl Dora brings him this chest of ice water after every game. "I try to keep (my foot) in there for 10-12's a straight sting for a minute until it numbs."

FINAL: Michigan 64, Houston 63. Michigan wins on a 30-footer at the buzzer by Jordan Poole. Wolverines were 7-for-29 from 3 before that shot. They're off to the Sweet 16 to play the winner of UNC-Texas A&M.

Kelvin Sampson and John Beilein are too cool for timeouts. (There are reviews every 20 seconds anyway.)

No. 3 Michigan was a hot pick coming into the tournament, with 74.2% of entries putting them in the Sweet 16, 32.0% in the Elite 8, 19.1% in the Final 4, 8.1% in the title game and 3.8% as the champions.

Rob Gray has started to heat up and Houston's opened up a small lead on Michigan heading down the stretch. The Wolverines haven't found the range on their 3s yet, but past history with this team says that could change at any time. It's coming down to the wire in Wichita.

Jeff Borzello ESPN Staff Writer

Zavier Simpson doing a terrific job on Rob Gray tonight. Per @ESPNStatsInfo, 12 of Gray's 16 shots have been contested. He's 2-for-12 on those. Wolverines also rotating well to collapse in the lane on his drives.

Massive call a couple possessions ago. Breaon Brady called for his fourth foul on a Moe Wagner flop — would have been Wagner's third foul.

Texas Tech is going to the Sweet 16 for the fourth time in school history after a fight against a good Florida team. Keenan Evans, who has dealt with a turf toe issue for the last month, is not 100 percent but he showed up when his team needed him against the Gators on Saturday night. Also, the Red Raiders did a great job of limiting turnovers, although a late Florida steal gave them multiple chances to tie the game and send it to overtime. Wild night.

Texas Tech is headed to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2005. Chris Beard's program continues its impressive season, in which they challenged Kansas for the Big 12 title but fell just short. Senior guard Keenan Evans was once again clutch down the stretch, hitting a go-ahead 3-pointer and a key assist on an alley-oop in the final minutes.

Michigan and Houston are tied at 28 at the half in Wichita. Points have been at a premium, as the Wolverines have gone just 4-of-17 on their 3s, while the Cougars' leading scorer, Rob Gray, is 2-of-11 from the field. Even so, one of these teams is 20 minutes away from a trip to LA for the Sweet 16.

Jeff Borzello ESPN Staff Writer

Houston and Michigan tied at 28 at halftime. Houston has missed its last nine shots from the field. Michigan has missed 12 of its last 14 shots from the field.
