KD trolls his haters

Golden State Warriors forward and Finals MVP Kevin Durant donned a cap featuring a cupcake with a championship ring on top instead of a cherry while attending a charity softball game in Oakland on Saturday. The design was a response to the "cupcake" chants that Durant received from the crowd in his return to Oklahoma City last season after former teammate Russell Westbrook posted a photo of the pastries following Durant's decision to leave the Thunder and join the Warriors. Green to GSW rookie: Enjoy, then get to work

Warriors star Draymond Green called Jordan Bell shortly after Bell was drafted by Chicago and then traded to Golden State on Thursday. "Enjoy this night," Green told him, "but after this time we have to get back to work."

Adam Reisinger ESPN.com

Back in 2014, the Bulls traded Luol Deng to the Cavs for Andrew Bynum (who was immediately released), two second-round picks and a heavily-protected first round pick from the Kings. That pick became a second-rounder when it didn't convey by 2017. The Bulls then used that pick, the 38th overall this year, to draft Jordan Bell - and immediately sold him to the Warriors.

Chris Haynes ESPN Staff Writer

Golden State Warriors paid $3.5 million to pay for the rights of acquiring Jordan Bell from Chicago at the 38th pick.

Golden State Warriors were able to acquire Jordan Bell with the No. 38 pick from Chicago in exchange for cash, sources tell ESPN. The Warriors did not own a single pick prior.

Horace Grant, who played for the Lakers in 2001 and 2004, says he'd give the 2000-01 Lakers, who went 15-1 in the postseason, the edge over the 2016-17 Warriors, who just went 16-1 in the postseason, in a hypothetical matchup. Grant then showed off his four championships rings with the Bulls and Lakers.
