Sources: Clippers deal guard Liggins to Hawks

Hawks announce deals with two

On Thursday, the Atlanta Hawks announced the signings of six-year NBA veteran Jeremy Evans and undrafted rookie guard Jordan Mathews. Terms of the agreements were not disclosed. Evans, a forward, has averaged 2.4 points and 1.8 rebounds per game in an NBA career primarily spent with the Utah Jazz. Mathews averaged 10.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists in his lone season for Gonzaga after three years at Cal.
