He was lifted with little more than three minutes remaining and Atlanta up by 20. This is only the second time this season that Thomas has failed to reach 20 points in a game.

Anthony threw his headband down in disgust. ?So it goes for the Knicks.

Hawks center Dwight Howard was ejected with 4:03 remaining in the third quarter when he received a technical foul for pulling himself up on the rim following an emphatic dunk. Howard got a technical earlier in the game for shoving Al Horford in the chest after taking umbrage with Horford giving a foul under the basket.
