The Phillies have named Larry Bowa a senior adviser to general manager Matt Klentak. Bowa was the team's bench coach and infield instructor the previous four seasons and was the starting shortstop for the 1980 World Series champions.

A Fox Sports spokesperson confirmed to Outside the Lines a Newsday report that the network will announce Monday that Keith Hernandez and David Ortiz will replace Pete Rose as MLB postseason studio analysts. The departure from Fox is the latest fallout for Rose of an allegation that he had sex more than 40 years ago with an underage girl.
