Tough loss for the Twins to end a six-game winning streak as the Tigers rallied from an 11-6 deficit to win on Justin Upton's walk-off home run. Remember, the Twins traded their closer, Brandon Kintzler, to the Nationals at the deadline. It made sense at the time as the Twins were slumping, but with the Twins back in the wild-card race, no doubt a little regret after a loss like this one.

Enns recalled, will start Thursday
LHP Dietrich Enns was recalled from Triple-A Rochester to make his Twins debut Thursday night in Milwaukee, getting the start against the Brewers. To make room for Enns on the 25-man roster, the Twins optioned 1B/DH Kennys Vargas down to Rochester. Enns, acquired in the deal that sent Jaime Garcia to Yankees, combined for a 2.39 ERA in eight starts between the Yankees and Twins' Triple-A affiliates this year.

Twins unveil Players Weekend unis
Following MLB's Players Weekend announcement on Wednesday, the Twins revealed the special jerseys they will wear Aug. 25-27. Players chose nicknames to sport on the backs of their uniforms, including “Doz” (Brian Dozier), “Magic” (Ervin Santana) and “The Doof” (Tyler Duffey).
The Minnesota Twins have recalled first baseman Kennys Vargas from Triple-A Rochester to fill the roster spot created after starting pitcher Adalberto Mejia landed on the 10-day disabled list.
Kepler, Rosario get in HR column
Max Kepler and Eddie Rosario each hit a pair of homers in Minnesota's 11-4 win over Milwaukee on Tuesday. According to Elias, they became the first Twins duo in over six years to hit multiple HRs in the same game.
