The Cubs and Indians played to a 1-1 tie on Sunday as there was no tenth inning this time around. Jason Heyward was 0-2 with 2 strikeouts and a walk after going 0-3 on Saturday. Before the game Joe Maddon said his swing looked "free-er" but it will take time to see results. The Cubs are 1-2 so far in the Cactus League.

Top Dodgers prospect Cody Bellinger showed what the hype is all about Sunday when he crushed a home run at Maryvale Baseball Park that bounced off a walkway and out of the spring training facility. Alex Verdugo, another of the team's top prospects, also homered in the inning against the Brewers.

With utility man Chris Taylor now getting some time in the outfield, one Dodgers roster spot could come down to Tayor, Charlie Culberson or Enrique Hernandez. All three are in the starting lineup Sunday against the Brewers: Hernandez in CF, Taylor at SS and Culberson at 3B.

On the complications of getting 10 starting pitchers appropriate work in spring games, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said the logistical challenge will take some finesse. "I think in a perfect world, they can all pitch in an A game," Roberts said. "But sometimes they will have to pitch on a back field and that's just the way it is."
