Jose Bautista is hitting .404/.508/.827 with six homers and two steals in his past 15 games, and he should only get more help in the RBI department when Josh Donaldson returns (perhaps this weekend). Bautista is turning into a streakier player at this stage of his career -- that's mostly due to his increased strikeout rate -- but he's providing quite the reward for his most patient owners, which frankly all his owners should be.

Joe Maddon has juggled the top of his lineup once again as the Cubs face lefty Matt Moore on Wednesday. With Ben Zobrist and Kyle Schwarber getting the day off Javy Baez will lead off for the first time this season. Albert Almora Jr will bat second for the second time this week while Miguel Montero catches for Kyle Hendricks.

As expected, Sam Travis will make his major-league debut for the Red Sox tonight at Fenway Park. He will play first base and bat seventh against Texas Rangers lefty Martin Perez.

Angels LF Cameron Maybin and CF Mike Trout hit back-to-back homers to start Tuesday's 4-0 win vs. the Rays. Per the Elias Sports Bureau, it's the third time in franchise history that the first two batters of a game went deep. Rex Hudler and Don Slaught did it in 1996, and Kole Calhoun and Trout turned the trick in 2013.
