The Yankees' Aaron Judge sent a pitch into orbit to the put the Yankees on the board against the Astros. With Justin Verlander out of the game, Judge took advantage of Astros reliever Brad Peacock in the eighth. It was Judge who began the Yankees' led the Yankees as they overcame a four-run deficit in Game 4 with a seventh inning solo homer in the Bronx.

Pumped-up Justin Verlander waits on the field for George Springer to run in after the top of the seventh inning. Springer's catch saved a few runs for the Astros. Verlander is at 99 pitches.

The Yankees' Todd Frazier missed tying Game 6 of the ALCS when he sent a Justin Verlander pitch 408-feet. The problem was the wall is 409-feet. Houston's center fielder George Springer made a nice leaping catch against the fence. The next batter, Chase Headley, grounded out to second, leaving two runners on and the Astros maintained their three-run lead.

With Yankee rookie Aaron Judge's sixth inning strikeout against the Astros Justin Verlander, Judge has tied a major league record for the most Ks in one postseason. His 26 strikeouts are the same as Alfonso Soriano had in 2003.

Jose Altuve's snooze is over. After going 0-for-New York in Games 3-5, he delivers a two-out, two-run single down the left-field line to a) give the Astros a three-run lead, b) chase Luis Severino from the game and c) revive the "M-V-P! M-V-P!" chants at Minute Maid Park.

Brian McCann had been hitless in 11 at-bats in the ALCS before lining an RBI double to right field. Astros got a bad break when the ball skipped over the fence. Evan Gattis might have scored, too, if the ball stayed in play.

The ALCS has lived up to its heavyweight pitching billing thus far. Through four innings, both the Astros' Justin Verlander and the Yankees' Luis Severino have put up zeroes. Severino did not give up his first hit until a two-out single by Carlos Correa in the fourth.

Scott Lauber ESPN Staff Writer

Forty-eight innings and 159 at-bats into ALCS, the Astros are slashing .138/.226/.201. Once again, these are the same Astros who scored more runs this season than any team since the 2009 Yankees.

There has been a lot of speculation on if Joe Girardi wants to return as the Yankee manager for next year or not. As he has stated in the past, Girardi has said that, after the season concludes, he will sit down with his family, allowing his wife and three children to weigh in on his decision. In his office prior to Game 6, I asked Girardi how they like October, Girardi said, "They love it."
