UNC warns other schools in wake of violations

Marquette star guard Markus Howard said he felt his shoulder pop, which caused him to leave the game and head to the locker room late in the second half. He said it's pretty sore, and he'll do whatever the trainers tell him to do.

Villanova cruises to a 94-70 victory over Marquette, advancing to the Big East tourney semis. Wildcats shot 11-for-17 from beyond the arc in the second half. Mikal Bridges and Jalen Brunson had 25 and 21 points, respectively. Marquette will have a very nervous wait until Selection Sunday.

Villanova leads Marquette 41-34 at halftime of Big East tourney quarterfinal No. 3 at MSG. It hasn't been easy — Markus Howard and Andrew Rowsey have 16 and 14 points respectively, including seven treys. Mikal Bridges has 16 for Nova.
