Wyoming QB Josh Allen showed some of the same inconsistencies during today's practice session in Mobile. The arm talent jumps. And he can deliver the ball on the run. Natural tools at the position. But the lack of touch and ball placement continues to pop up during team drills.

Wyoming QB Josh Allen showed some deep ball accuracy during WR vs. DB one-on-ones. Allen hit a couple of throws over the top vs. man-coverage. Throw the sideline fade. And give the WR a chance to finish the play.

Wyoming QB Josh Allen admitted his first Senior Bowl practice was "a little ugly" as he and the receivers got adjusted to each other and a new playbook, and he said he had some "easy misses." But he said that's to be expected on Day 1 and "we'll come out tomorrow and clean things up."

Wyoming QB Josh Allen said he doesn't mind hearing fellow draft prospects like Sam Darnold and Josh Rosen get more attention or accolades. He said he is actually living and training with Darnold in Orange County under former NFL quarterback Jordan Palmer and trainer Ryan Flaherty and that he and Darnold are “super good friends.” “We're obviously there to compete. We want to be better. We want to be the best quarterbacks we can be, there's no secret about that,” Allen said. “At the same time, we're not competing against each other. Someone's gonna get drafted higher, that's the fact of the matter. But we want to end up in situations where it's the best fit for ourselves.”

Josh Allen has an opportunity playing for Denver's coaching staff at the Senior Bowl. He pointed out that the Broncos a "quarterback-needy team."
