Sturm tops Saturday's QBR performers

With his near-perfect effort (19-of-22, 292 yards, 4 TDs) in UTSA's rout of Southern, Dalton Sturm earned the top QBR from Week 3 according to ESPN's metric, just edging out Wisconsin's Alex Hornibrook, Buffalo's Tyree Jackson and Alabama's Jalen Hurts.

Houston-UTSA game will not be made up

Houston and the University of Texas at San Antonio will look to reschedule their canceled season opener to another year.

Houston's canceled game against UTSA in Week 1 because of Hurricane Harvey will not be made up, the Cougars announced.

The University of Houston just announced its season opening football game vs. UTSA is canceled as a result of the continuing impact of Hurricane Harvey. Houston's volleyball, soccer and cross country events have also been canceled. A later date for the football game will be explored.
