Tonight's Cal-Oregon number of 89.5 is the highest over-under in at least 15 years. Seven other games in that span have had over-unders of 83 points or above, and five of those contests have gone over. This last happened in 2015, when Baylor and Texas Tech combined to score 98 points to obliterate the over-under of 89. (ESPN Stats and Info)

Arizona State released the following statement from Vice President for Athletics Ray Anderson regarding the $10,000 fine WSU coach Mike Leach received for comments he made about ASU's sign-stealing practice: "I fully support the Pacific-12 Conference Office and Commissioner Larry Scott's decision on this matter. Our professional integrity was questioned for two straight years by Mike Leach's irresponsible comments and we will not allow that to happen. We are pleased with the outcome and for us the matter is closed."

BYU's fake punt on fourth-and-19 from its own 5-yard line went … well, it did not go well. Punter Jonny Linehan made it out of the end zone, but was tackled before reaching the line of scrimmage. BYU coach Kalani Sitake offered the following explanation before going to the locker room at halftime: "Well, on film we thought we had it. We wanted to be aggressive. We came to win the game and it just didn't work out. They made a great adjustment – something that we haven't seen in prior games. But we wanted to be aggressive and it didn't hurt us. Our defense had our backs."
