For the second straight day at Fenway Park a "Lets Go Cubbies" chant broke out after Kris Bryant extended a hitting streak to 10 games followed by Anthony Rizzo's 5th home run on this road trip. The Cubs have reduced their deficit to one, 3-2, in the 4th.

Coming off their worst season ever, the Chicago Bears take three players from non-FBS schools and a quarterback second overall who might not see the field in 2017. It's boom or bust for Bears.

Denzel Valentine had the assembled media chuckling while he explained why he basically became a spot up shooter throughout most of his rookie season with the Bulls: "That was pretty much the only option," Valentine said after his exit interview with the Bulls' front office. "Unless you want me to go over there and take the ball from somebody. Go over and steal the ball from Jimmy? Nah."

The Colts wrapped up their draft – barring a trade – by selecting Northwestern linebacker Anthony Walker with 161st overall selection. The selection of Walker means the Colts used six of their eight draft picks on defensive players, which was the goal coming into the weekend. Walker had 7.5 sacks and four interceptions in his career at Northwestern.

Jordan Morgan started every single game at left tackle over the last four seasons at Kutztown, earning two AP Little All-American first-team nods.

With their final pick, the Bears chose Kutztown OL Jordan Morgan in Round 5. Morgan is the 2nd Division II player taken by the Bears this week, joining 2nd round TE Adam Shaheen, who played at Ashland University. Morgan played in the Senior Bowl for the Bears coaching staff. He obviously made a great impression. Morgan played LT in college, but may have size for guard in the NFL.

Bears about to go on the clock for the final time at 147. So far, Chicago has drafted a QB second overall who may not play in 2017, a Division II tight end, Alabama's Eddie Jackson and a 5"6 running back who can catch a ball while doing a backup. What can Ryan Pace do for an encore?!!

At 119, the Bears drafted 5"6 North Carolina A&T running back Tarik Cohen -- the MEAC's all-time leading rusher with 5,619 yards. Chicago wanted a shifty, change of pace tailback to compliment the bruising style of Pro Bowler Jordan Howard. Cohen has been compared to Darren Sproles, who Bears GM Ryan Pace spent time with in New Orleans.
